Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office investigators have charged an Etowah County man in connection with breaking into three vehicles at Cherokee Rock Village. According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, the incidents took place last weekend while people were enjoying the Park. Investigators have obtained warrants for 35 year-old James K. Bryant for 3 counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, first degree theft, and 2 counts of third degree theft of property. Much of the stolen property was recovered by investigators.

Deputies from Cherokee and Etowah Counties located the suspect in Etowah County where he was arrested on unrelated charges this past Tuesday. He will be transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center when he’s released from jail in Etowah County.
