According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County investigators charged a Cedar Bluff woman with a sex offender registration notification act (SORNA) violation last Friday after she was found to be living here without notifying the Sheriff’s Office.  The woman, Brenda J. Netterville, age 50, was registered with the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office for an offense that occurred in Florida.  She had left Lauderdale County without making notification to them and moved to Cherokee County.  She will be transported to Lauderdale County after she makes bond in Cherokee County to face a SORNA charge there.
