According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County deputies arrested two men Sunday, June 3, 2018, in the Kirk’s Grove Community on drug charges, including a Georgia fugitive.  Bobby S. Hudgins, 34, is a fugitive from Floyd County, Georgia, and is wanted for a probation violation.  Destin S. Brock, 27, of Rome was also taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Both were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.  Hudgins will be extradited to Georgia when he’s released from Cherokee County.
