According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County investigators arrested two suspects on Wednesday in connection with a burglary that occurred in the Cedar Bluff area.  The residence, a vacation lake home, was broken into during the last few weeks and several items including electronics and tools were taken.  Investigator Brent Snead charged Anthony E. Slayton, 55, and Timothy J. Weaver, 58, both of Cedar Bluff, with third degree burglary and second degree theft of property. Sheriff’s investigators recovered most of the property that was stolen from the victim’s residence and returned the property back to the owner.
