Cherokee County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested two individuals on Tuesday for the illegal distribution of drugs. Alexander P. Brown, 22 of Centre, and Melissa A. Jolly, 41 also of Centre, were taken into custody and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center. According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, the charges stem from two unrelated drug investigations. Brown was booked in for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Jolly was booked on charges of two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
