Sheriff’s Office Investigators Arrest Suspect in Cedar Bluff Burglary…

According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County investigators arrested a Gaylesville man in connection with a burglary that occurred over the weekend in the Cedar Bluff area. Investigator Tony Monroy charged 35 year-old Dustin C. Watwood with third degree burglary. Sheriff’s Office investigators also located illegal drugs in his possession and additionally charged Watwood with 2 counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on the burglary and drug charges, as well as a parole violation.
