According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, on Monday, March 6, 2017, Sheriff’s Office investigators recovered a motorcycle at a residence on County Road 664 in the Round Mountain Community, which had been stolen from Lookout Mountain.  Joshua W. Ellison, 38, of Leesburg and Colby S. Brunson, 31, of Sand Rock, were arrested and charged with second degree theft of property.  Ellison was additionally charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center where they await bond.
