Burglary Suspects Arrested in the Frog Mountain Area

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, on Monday, November 14, 2016, deputies responded to County Road 45 and Frog Mountain Road to a complaint from hunting club members concerning someone living in a vehicle on the property.  Deputies Money and Jolly discovered a male and female inside a makeshift tent.  According to Investigator Charles Clifton, the couple are suspects in several burglaries.  Amanda Leann Link, 37, of Centre was arrested on an active warrant for Fraudulent Use of Credit/ Debit Card.  The male subject, Kristhopher Corey Jackson, 41, of Cedartown attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended. He is charged with attempting to elude, resisting arrest, obstruction of justice and giving a false name to authorities.  The vehicle was  impounded and some of the property inside was identified as stolen.  The investigation continues, and it is hopeful that more property can be identified and returned.
