According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators arrested 2 people on Monday, December 14, 2015, in connection with a truck theft.  The stolen truck was taken from a residence on County Road 506 in November and was recovered last week in the Sand Rock area.   Robin T. Coffey, 53, and  Michael L. Lyons, 58, both of Sand Rock were charged with first degree theft of property.  Both Coffey and Lyons remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting bond.  This case remains under investigation by Sheriff’s Office investigators.
