According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, a Memorial Day incident of domestic violence resulted in a woman being injured and a manhunt is ongoing for her assailant, who is reportedly armed and dangerous. Deputies responded to the call at approximately 11:05 am on County Road 29 in the McCords Crossroads area, but the suspect had fled the residence. He is identified as Randall Terry Clifton, 28, of Cedar Bluff. Clifton is wanted for felony domestic violence. The victim was transported to an area hospital.
