According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, warrants have been issued for registered sex offender, Stacey Lamar Croy, age 40, of Gaylesville.  Croy failed to verify his residence with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office after being arrested and released in Chattooga County, Georgia.  Croy is a white male, 5’6 tall, weighing 175 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.  He is currently listed on the Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted page.  Anyone with information about this subject is urged to call Chief Investigator Bo Jolly or the tip line number (256) 927-9999.
