The Cherokee County Sheriff?s Office is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect that was observed trying to break into a vending machine at Spring Garden School. There have been several reported thefts from school property in recent days. On Friday, July 8, at approximately 11:45 p.m., the unidentified suspect was observed at the school attempting to commit a crime. He fled the scene in a white and silver Chevrolet truck with a partial tag number of 11F97L. Anyone with information on the suspect?s identity should contact Lt.
