At this time Cherokee County Narcotics Officers and other Sheriff's Office Personel along with the State Marijuana Eradication Team are locating, cutting and destroying marijuana plants in Cherokee County. At this time approximately 6,000 plants have been located and destroyed. A final number will be released at the end of the operation. The plants are valued at approximately $2000.00 each.
