On February 17th, 2010, Investigator Bo Jolly received information from the Dekalb County Sheriff's Office that Larry Wayne Kyle a registered sex offender had moved without following the requirements of the Community Notification Act. Dekalb County Investigators discovered that Larry Wayne Kyle had left his registered residence and had failed to notify authorities. A warrant was delivered to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office by Dekalb County authorities. Investigator Mark Hicks, Sergeant Camp Reese and Reserve Deputy Jackie Farmer located Gary Wayne Kyle at a County Road 171 Piedmont address and arrested him without incident. Kyle admitted to Investigator Mark Hicks that he had moved from his registered address, he also stated he was aware of his requirement to register with the Sheriff
