According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, deputies were patrolling in the Blanche area when they were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle parked near a house on County Road 125. Chief Deputy Josh Summerford and SSGT. Brent Snead arrived on scene and found three individuals taking items from a house. Summerford and Snead arrested Christopher Chappell (45 y/o) of Centre, Robert Abernathy (43 y/o) of Gaylesville, and Joshua Taylor (30 y/o) of Cedar Bluff and they were all transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd charges.

 

Sheriff Shaver stated, "This is another reminder of reporting something if it looks suspicious. The people in our communities play a vital role in helping prevent crime."
