According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, a Summerville, Ga. man attempted to elude law enforcement overnight in the Cloudland area.  Cpl. Smith observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to stop the car.  The driver, Jackson Lowenburg, wrecked when attempting to negotiate a curve on County Road 72.  The suspect was released from EMS care on scene and transported to Cherokee County Detention Center for Attempting to Elude and Driving While Intoxicated.
