According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 18 late Thursday afternoon.  Sheriff's Office investigators obtained the search warrant as a result of an investigation into the selling of illegal drugs.  Kim T. Kelley, 52 of Piedmont, was arrested by deputies and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, four counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.  Investigators recovered and seized methamphetamine from Kelley's residence.
