Sheriff’s Office Investigators Arrest 2 Burglary Suspects…

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office investigators made two arrests on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, in connection with a residential burglary that occurred in mid-December in the Alexis community.  According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, William S. Culpepper, 33, and Timothy W. Hooper, 20, both of Centre, were charged with third degree burglary, first degree criminal mischief, and third degree theft of property.  Investigator Tony Monroy, who investigated the burglary, was able to recover the victim’s stolen property.  Both Culpepper and Hooper remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center where they await bond.
