According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Investigators recovered two stolen vehicles on Wednesday. The stolen vehicles were involved in unrelated cases. A 2013 Chevrolet Spark, which was stolen from Paulding County, Georgia, was recovered from a location on County Road 472. The second stolen vehicle was  recovered on Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. The 2000 GMC van was taken from Jefferson County. The driver of that vehicle, Paul L. Shields, 34 of Pleasant Grove, was taken into custody and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of first degree receiving stolen property.
