According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, the Town of Gaylesville and the Sheriff’s Office have teamed up to open a Sheriff’s Office Sub-Station.  The Sub-Station will be located inside the Gaylesville Town Hall and will be a place for deputies to do reports and meet with people.  Sheriff Shaver said, “We appreciate Mayor Stafford and the Gaylesville Town Council for their tremendous assistance in this project.”  According to Sheriff Shaver, the Sub-Station will provide a greater Sheriff’s Office presence in Gaylesville and the surrounding communities.
