Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators, and K-9 Keelo visited the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLCS) at Gaylesville School on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.  CCLCS is a program which supports the creation of community learning centers to provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children.  Twenty-four students are currently enrolled in the program.  Through this opportunity, the kids learned about the Sheriff’s Office and  got to meet the popular K-9 Keelo.  Sheriff Shaver said, “It is always fun for us to get to visit with students and children and share with them about what we do.”
