Investigator Matt Sims of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office recently completed the 2016 competitive shooting season in the International Defense Pistol Association.  Sims won the Alabama and Mississippi State Championships as well as the prestigious Masters Championship.  He also placed fourth at the IDPA National Championships held in Texas.  Sims is sponsored by Nighthawk Custom of Berryville, Arkansas.  Sheriff Jeff Shaver wishes to congratulate Matt and stated he is very thankful to have a person with his talent and skill working with Sheriff’s Office.
