According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, a Louisville, Kentucky, man was arrested after concerned citizens saw his photo on the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website Most Wanted page and contacted the office.

   Louisville authorities arrested Steven Craig Thomas, age 36, for parole violations and other charges. Thomas was transferred to the Cherokee Detention Center on Tuesday, August 25. Sheriff Shaver stated, “The website has proven to be a very valuable tool in assisting us with our law enforcement duties. As always, we appreciate the public alerting us and helping make our communities more safe.”
