Arrest Made From Saturation At Sand Rock

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, deputies working from the mobile command unit in the Sand Rock area witnessed a passenger throw a syringe out the window of a vehicle, across the street from the school.  Classes were dismissing, and there were children present on the playground, in the park. At this time officers stopped the vehicle for traffic violations and the observed criminal activities.  Joshua Wayne Ellison, 35, of Leesburg and Brian Ray Hulsey, 35, of Sand Rock were both arrested for no seat belt, criminal littering, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  The State Probation Office was contacted and placed a probation violation on Hulsey and a parole violation on Ellison.  Both men are currently being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
