According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, additional charges have been filed against a Centre man after investigators found evidence of additional violations.  James Kenneth Mooney, age 37, was arrested on October 21, 2013, on several drug related charges and numerous outstanding traffic warrants.  Statements made by Mooney lead investigators to obtain an additional warrant against him for the offense of second degree rape.  Mooney is currently incarcerated in the Cherokee County Detention Center on bonds totaling $150,500.
