According to Cherokee County Coroner Broderick Smith, a positive identification has been made regarding one of the three bodies recovered last week from a vehicle submerged upside down in Weiss Lake off County Road 31.  Authorities positively identified one of the male victims as 41 year old Bobby DeWayne Hyatt of Piedmont.  The bodies were sent to the Department of Forensic Sciences in Huntsville for autopsy and assistance in the identification process.  Identification is pending on the other two victims, and additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
