Three Arrested For Meth Possession

According to information released from Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, three people were arrested after being found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit received information that a man wanted out of Marshall County Alabama was staying in the Weiss Lake Motel next to the Weiss Mart Marina in Cedar Bluff. Agents verified the warrants for failing to appear on unlawful manufacturing a controlled substance 2nd degree and possession/sell of precursor chemicals against 24 year old Timothy Michael Hann of a Union Grove address and went to the motel to locate Hann. Agents confirmed that Hann was staying at the motel. Agents located Hann along with three other individuals inside a room at the motel. Agents also located a quantity of Methamphetamine (ICE) and several items of drug paraphernalia in the room. Timothy Michael Hann was arrested on the outstanding warrants from Marshall County along with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Michael Lynn West, 38 of a Union Grove address and Christopher Adam Hann, 22 of a Hanceville address were also arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Agents also learned that Michael West is currently out on parole for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance 1st Degree. All three are currently being housed at the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
