According to information released by Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, a domestic dispute between two brothers ends with one being cut with a knife.  Michael and Jonathan McGatha were riding four wheelers with friends when the two brothers got into an argument which led to a fist fight.  A knife was pulled during the scuffle and Jonathan received injuries to his right side and back.  Michael McGatha and the two others wrapped Jonathan’s wounds with a shirt and towel and carried him to the roadside to meet emergency medical personnel and law enforcement officers.  Jonathan McGatha was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released.  The incident remains under investigation.
