According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, five persons were arrested late Friday when agents of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant. CNU Agents along with deputies and investigators conducted the search warrant at the residence of Timothy Lynn Plunkett in the Forney community on County Road 159. Arrested and charged with 1st degree trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and 2nd degree unlawful possession on marijuana were:

Timothy Lynn Plunkett, age 49, Rockmart, Georgia

Sundai Michele Woodard, age 40, Topeka, Kansas

Sherry Yvonne Broom, age 54, Cedartown, Georgia

Steven Edward Hicks, age 46, Cobb County, Georgia

These four individuals are being held on $105,500 bond each.

Sheila Wheeler, age 40, of Paulding County, Georgia, was charged with attempting to commit a controlled substance crime and has been released on bond.
