Appreciation from Sheriff Shaver for Publics' Assistance

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office strives to do the best job possible, and we rely on the assistance of our community. One of the many ideas behind the website we launched in January of 2010 was to inform the public of wanted persons.  Thanks to good citizens and the Most Wanted page, we receive information daily that has lead to the arrest of these individuals.  The Most Wanted page has greatly assisted us in closing out cases of existing warrants, as many people have turned themselves in as soon as they were posted.  As we approach the 200th arrest from our Most Wanted page, I would like to express my appreciation to the public for your assistance in making our county a safer place to live, work, and raise a family.  You can help by continuing to visit our website at cherokeecountyalsheriff.com and emailing information or calling our tip-line at (256) 927-9999.  Thanks again for your support.
